Wing Yin Leung

Wing Yin is a Specialist Registrar in Renal Medicine at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is currently pursuing a PhD at Lancaster Medical School.

Her research focuses on utilizing routinely collected clinical data to improve diagnostic coding in the community and assess health inequalities in patients living with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Specifically, her project aims to enhance CKD identification and management through the development of a novel algorithm and a collaborative approach. She is supervised by Professor Jo Knight and Professor Hedley Emsley.
