Claudio Fronterrè
Claudio is a spatial statistician interested in disease mapping in low-resource settings with a focus on the epidemiology and control of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) in sub-Saharan Africa.
He obtained his PhD in Statistics from the Department of Statistical Sciences of the University of Padova (Italy). His research was mainly focused on investigating the effects and find corrections of positional errors for geostatistical models and point pattern analysis.
He enjoys working at the interface between statistics, infectious diseases and epidemiology.
