Luís Filipe
I am a Lecturer in Health Economics at the Division of Health Research and at the Lancaster Medical School, Faculty of Health and Medicine, Lancaster University.
I obtained my PhD in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics, Portugal. I worked as a researcher for the NHIR ARC NWC based at the Division of Health Research, Faculty of Health and Medicine, Lancaster University.
I am an empirical researcher with several interests, such as hospital efficiency, ageing, resource allocation, people’s preferences for health services/policies, education/health trade-offs, and general policy analysis. I am a member of the executive committee of the Portuguese Association of Health Economics (APES).
