CHICAS (Combining Health Information, Computation And Statistics) is a research group of statisticians and epidemiologists in the Lancaster Medical School. The aims of the group are:

  • to develop new statistical and epidemiological methodology motivated by, and applied to, substantive research problems in the population health sciences;
  • to train future researchers at the interface between statistics and population health sciences;
  • to collaborate with researchers in the biomedical and health sciences.
